Dining Guide
Every restaurant in this guide features on its menu at least three entrees containing no meat, fish, or fowl. For Metro Denver and Boulder at least five vegetarian entrees were required for inclusion.
The inclusion of a particular restaurant does not necessarily constitute a recommendation.
A restaurant shown in
red and bold print indicates that it is a vegetarian-only restaurant.
Restaurants with web site links are indicated by
blue. (Vegetarian restaurants with
links will have the link in blue and their address and phone in red.)

the areas listed below to view the restaurant listings for that area. Area
codes for the city are in parentheses following the name of the city (when they
are not included as part of the number).
RESTAURANTS ARE NOTORIOUS FOR CHANGING RAPIDLY.
While some restaurants have been in business for years, others go out of
business and new restaurants come into business. Call first to verify the
restaurant's existence, location, and hours. E-mail
us if you have new information, and we will endeavor to keep this site up to
date.
RESTAURANTS DO NOT ALWAYS REPRESENT
"VEGETARIAN" DISHES ACCURATELY. Sometimes dishes are
described as "vegetarian" but in fact contain meat of some type, for
example soups or entrees made with chicken or fish stock, or French fries cooked
with lard. The famous McDonald's lawsuit revolved around this very
issue. While we make no guarantees, we strive to insure that restaurants on this list
always accurately represent which of their dishes are, or are not,
vegetarian. E-mail
us if you have information that this is not the case.
