"Why should I be a vegetarian?"

Because a plant-based diet is healthful--high in fiber, low in fat, and nutritionally complete
Because a plant-based diet is environmentally responsible; we could feed all the world's hungry on a vegetarian diet. We could stop the elimination of the worlds rain forest and ecological damage right here at home by adopting a vegetarian diet.
Because a plant-based diet doesn't require the confinement and slaughter of billions of innocent animals.

Vegetarianism is not new - Plato, Leonardo da Vinci, George Bernard Shaw, Leo Tolstoy, and Mahatma Gandhi were vegetarians. Today, such diverse personalities as musicians Paul McCartney and Shania Twain, actors Dustin Hoffman and Kim Basinger, baseball player Hank Aaron, and researcher Jane Goodall--not to mention millions of others throughout the world--are joining them.

How about you?
