in Denver

Dr. Michael Greger, renowned physician and social activist, will
speak in Denver, Colorado on Wednesday, April 7. The talk will be at the
Washington Park United Methodist Church, 1955 E. Arizona St., at 7:30 p.
m. He will speak on "Globalization and Animals." The talk
is sponsored by the Vegetarian Society of Colorado, and is free and open to the
public.
Michael Greger, M.D., is a nationally recognized speaker
who testified as an expert witness on "Mad Cow Disease" in the
Oprah Winfrey "meat defamation" lawsuit. He is a general practitioner specializing in
vegetarian nutrition. He is a graduate of the Cornell
University School of Agriculture and the Tufts University School of Medicine,
and is the author of Heart Failure: Diary of
a Third Year Medical Student. He
lives in Boston.
Dr. Greger will also be talking in Boulder at the 56th
Conference on World Affairs from April 5 to April 9.
