Virtual Vegetarian Editor

The "Virtual Vegetarian" editor is responsible for the e-mail version of the events portion of "Vegetarian Living," the VSC's bi-monthly publication.  This should be e-mailed to all VSC members with an e-mail address every month.  It is different from the Web Coordinator in that the web coordinator maintains the web site, while the Virtual Vegetarian editor actually e-mails the events out to members.

1. Maintain a list of e-mail addresses of VSC members to receive these notices.  This should be coordinated with the membership coordinator, who should be able to provide current e-mail addresses for all VSC members.

2. Compose and send out an e-mail monthly containing events and other special announcements of interest to VSC members.  This should be coordinated with the newsletter editor.  In some cases -- special events with very short notice -- a special edition might be sent out other than just at the monthly interval.  

3. Maintain good relations with the "listserve" through which the Virtual Vegetarian operates.  Currently we hope to use the "listserve" services of Riseup.Net.
