TREASURER

The main requirement for being treasurer is responsibility! Most of the tasks are very easy, but they need to get done, and in a timely manner.  The treasurer keeps track of the VSC finances -- deposits checks, pays the bills, and prepares a yearly financial statement accounting for the VSC's assets. It's also necessary to have a PC. It takes about 2-3 hours each week.

You would also need to be in the same town as our bank, which is First Bank. This is probably not a problem since First Bank is found in many places in Colorado including Denver, Boulder, etc.

The Treasurer must be a vegetarian, a VSC member, and a member of the VSC Board.  If not a member of the board, someone on the board must be the "financial officer" and must directly supervise the Treasurer.
