Call for Candidates for the VSC Board of Directors:

Elections for the VSC Board are held in odd-numbered years, and we’re now calling for candidates for the 2005 elections. By serving on the Board you have a voice in guiding the VSC for the next two years. Board members must be vegetarians, VSC members, and be willing to work to sponsor community outreach, speakers, and social and educational events. We especially encourage people from outside Denver to run, so that all VSC branches across the state may be represented.

If the election is not contested because there are fewer candidates than positions, the election (which will be a formality) will be decided at the annual meeting, to be held at 2865 S. Gilpin St., Denver, Colorado on Thursday, Jan. 6 at 7:30 p. m., with the election of the board of directors the only item on the agenda. If the election IS contested, however, you will receive a further notice and/or a ballot.
