Mile Hi Vegetarians

The "Mile Hi Vegetarians" is a vegetarian group of the Mile Hi Church of Religious Science located at the NE corner of Alameda and Garrison in Lakewood. (Garrison is between Wadsworth and Kipling). All are welcome! You need not be a regular at Mile Hi to attend this, or any of our gatherings. Our monthly meetings are on the second Sunday of each month at 1:30 pm in the Mile Hi Community Center (located immediately to the north of the church building).

The program for November 9 features Alice Cramer, RD, in a lively presentation and discussion of nutritional issues and the vegetarian diet. The theme is Harvest Foods, so plan to delight palates with your favorite fall vegetarian dish! Our December 14 gathering is our holiday potluck and the theme is Red/Green foods.

Bring your favorite vegetarian dish to share with 8 and your own place setting. Please remember to bring either a recipe card, or a list of ingredients for your dish to assist those with food allergies and/or preferences.
