Mile Hi Vegetarians

We’re back from summer sabbatical! The Mile Hi Vegetarians is a group of the Mile Hi Church of Religious Science located at the NE corner of Alameda and Garrison in Lakewood. (Garrison is between Wadsworth and Kipling). All are welcome! You need not be a regular at Mile Hi to attend these, or any of our gatherings, nor do you need to be vegetarian.

The program for September 14 continues our exploration of vegetarianism and various spiritual traditions, with the focus this month on the Sikh faith. The food theme is Indian. Get creative and bring a dish from one of the many cuisines of India! Please remember to bring a dish to share with 8, your own place setting if possible, and either a recipe card or a list of ingredients for your dish to assist those with food allergies and/or preferences. Our October 12 gathering will be at 1:30 at a restaurant to be announced at the September gathering. Pre-registration for this event will be required so that the restaurant can be prepared.

Our monthly meetings are on the second Sunday of each month. The September event will be held at 1:30 pm in the Mile Hi Community Center (located immediately to the north of the church building).
