Just past the Bluebell Shelter, a sign on the right leads the way to trailheads for the Third Flatiron and Royal Arch. About 100ft ahead, the Royal Arch Trail forks to the left. It’s a 3-mile R/T hike with an elevation gain of about 1200 feet. Dogs are allowed. Pack lots of water for yourselves and mostly your doggie companions, since I’m not sure if there will be water somewhere along the trail for them. Did I hear someone say, "drought?"
