Our get togethers at Govinda's and Watercourse foods have been a great success!  Cheery faces, great conversation, a full menu's worth of veggie (and vegan!) food and barrels of fun!

4th of July Picnic/Potluck Celebration 2004

Please join us for our annual 4th of July picnic/party at the Indian Hills Park and plan to stay for the FIREWORKS! 
 
Please bring a plant-based dish (no meat, fish fowl, dairy, eggs, honey or other animal derived products) to serve at least 10 people. A plant-based dish can be as simple as, cut up fruits or veggies or a bottle of natural apple juice to share. Also, bring a serving utensil, your own place setting, your own drink and a recipe card (with some extras to share), listing the ingredients in your dish (Please note on your recipe card if your dish contains any hydrogenated oils). Don’t forget your family and friends, a lawn chair and/or a blanket, if you plan to stay for the fireworks that are put on at dark by the Fire Dept.  We will meet at 4 PM , eat at 5, then play/chat until the fireworks begin.   They canceled the fireworks in the past due to the drought, so if you want to be sure they will be having the fireworks, I should know a few days before. Feel free to call me to find out for sure. The Picnic will go on, with or without the fireworks.  
Location: Take Hwy 285 ( Hampden Avenue ) into the mountains, about 4 miles past C-470. Take the Parmalee Gulch/Indian Hills exit. Turn right and go about 2.8 miles. The park will be on the left across from the Fire Station. Take our cell numbers along in case you get lost, 303-887-4069 or 303-807-1886. If we don’t answer, please try again.
