VSC mulling online options

The VSC recently discontinued the use of Stewdio due to lack of member interest and the financial cost.  However, we still are looking for online options to inform VSC members who give us their e-mail address of upcoming events and sending out the Virtual Vegetarian.  We are looking for a “listserv” (mailing list server) that has a low cost (hopefully free) and no advertising.  If you have ideas along these lines, let us know at info@vsc.org.

In the meantime, we are sending out e-mail notices by copying everyone’s e-mail address into the “BCC” (blind copy) portion of the e-mail header. 

We do not send out a lot of announcements -- perhaps one or two per month.  If you recently received a notice about Dr. Michael Greger’s talk in Denver, then you are on our e-mail list and we have your address.  If you did NOT receive this notice, it is most likely because we do NOT have your e-mail address.  If you are a VSC member and want to receive the Virtual Vegetarian and other e-mail notices from the VSC, then please make sure that we have your e-mail address.  Send your name and e-mail address to info@vsc.org and we’ll add your name to the list.
