May: Join us Saturday May 8th at noon for a potluck at the lovely Bear Creek
Regional Park: From 21st street (also known as Cresta), go West on Argus.
Parking on right. We'll meet under the pavilion, but may filter down to the grass if it's crowded. I will bring a folding table just in case. Please bring a vegetarian or vegan (no dairy, eggs, honey) dish to share with at least 8 people and a list of ingredients. Also, in order to reduce waste, please provide your own plate/bowl, utensils (including serving utensil for your dish), napkins, and beverage/cup. Just to the south of the park is the
Dog Loop, where pooches can wander off leash. The park also has tennis
courts and playing fields. You might also want to bring a picnic blanket and
sunscreen! See you there!

June: George Eisman will be speaking on Friday, June 4th at 7:00 pm in the small hall of All Souls Unitarian Church, 730 N. Tejon. Eisman will present
his program, "What's Wrong with Atkins (and other High Protein Diets)."
We'll plan to have a potluck before the program and will post details on the
VSC website as we draw closer to the date.
