Mile Hi Vegetarians
The "Mile Hi Vegetarians" is a vegetarian group of the Mile
Hi Church of Religious Science located at the NE corner of Alameda and
Garrison in Lakewood. (Garrison is between Wadsworth and Kipling). All
are welcome! You need not be a regular at Mile Hi to attend this,
or any of our gatherings. You also do not need to be vegetarian. Our
monthly meetings are generally the second Sunday of each month at 1:30
pm in the Mile Hi Community Center (located immediately to the north of
the church building).
This year’s program continues our theme from last year of exploring
vegetarianism and various spiritual traditions. Please join us and
explore the ways in which we are all connected – the ways in which we
choose to release our view of separateness and remember our
"sameness". May 9 features the Sikh beliefs, and the food
theme is "Indian".
Bring your favorite vegetarian dish to share with 8 and your own
place setting. Please remember to bring either a recipe card, or a list
of ingredients for your dish to assist those with food allergies and/or
preferences. For more information or to be added to the email list, call
Glenn at 303-989-4504 or email him at runmore@rmi.net
See you there!
This group will take its traditional three-month hiatus from June –
August. Please join us again in September for a program on Co-masonry
and the Liberal Catholic Church, with South American foods as the theme.
Look for details on this, and future programs, in the September/October
issue of Vegetarian Living.
