Mile Hi VegetariansCOME JOIN US!! Everyone is welcome! The Mile Hi Vegetarians hold a monthly potluck at the Mile Hi Church of Religious Science located at the NE corner of Alameda and Garrison in Lakewood. (Garrison is between Wadsworth and Kipling). You need not attend Mile Hi to join our gatherings. Our May 12 program features a Wild Edibles walk conducted by Dave Conant. If you’ve not experienced Dave’s vast knowledge of wild edible plants, you are in for a treat! The theme for the potluck is Things with Herbs. Following the potluck, the walk will occur alongside the stream on the church property. We normally have a sabbatical during the three summer months, but this year, on June 9th, there is a picnic potluck and yoga class scheduled! It will be at Clement Park located at Wadsworth and Bowles. Meet on the east shore at 1:30 pm. Call Jason at 303-455-3470 for more information on the June gathering. For both events above, bring a vegetarian dish to share with 8 and your own place setting. Please remember to bring either a recipe card, or a list of ingredients for your dish to assist those with food allergies and/or preferences. Our monthly events are generally held the second Sunday at 1:30 pm in the Mile Hi Community Center (located immediately to the north of the church building).
