More on Whole Foods
In a recent issue, I noticed your piece about Whole Foods and veal. I was happy to see you put information forward as Whole Foods seems to show an appalling lack of sensitivity in various areas. Are you aware that the Cherry Creek store has a live lobster tank? When I called recently and spoke to a manager, she had an arrogant, Cavalier attitude and kept repeating how many live lobsters they sold over the holidays. I believe Whole Foods needs to be confronted in some way about betraying many of their customers who expect such a company to draw the line and refuse to sell these especially decadent, cruel items. Does anyone in the VSC have any ideas?
