Mile Hi Vegetarians

The Mile Hi Vegetarians have changed the format for 2004 year to include a variety of events, times and places! March 13 features a gathering at the Rang Mahal restaurant in southeast Denver, which has been noted as the best Indian restaurant in Denver! Rang Mahal (2890 J South Colorado Blvd.) is located in the shoppette on the southeast corner of Colorado Blvd and Amherst (Amherst is one block south of Yale). It is the same shoppette than contains the wonderful new Sunflower natural foods store, and the Chez Artiste theatre. Plan to join us for a buffet lunch at noon and do your shopping or catch a movie afterwards! NOTE: you must make a reservation by Monday, March 8, with Gretchen. Cash only (no checks or credit cards) at the door. Call 303-989-7048 for reservations and details. (Do not call the restaurant.)

The April gathering date is easy to remember – it is on April 11, Easter Sunday. It is one of only two potlucks this year, so you won’t want to miss it! We start promptly at 1:30, so come early to have time to chat and settle in. It is in the Seminar Room of the Community Center at Mile Hi Church. Mile Hi Church of Religious Science is located at the NE corner of Alameda and Garrison in Lakewood. (Garrison is between Wadsworth and Kipling). All are welcome! You need not be a regular at Mile Hi to attend these, or any of our gatherings, nor do you need to be vegetarian. Please bring a dish to share with 8, your own place setting if possible, and either a recipe card or a list of ingredients for your dish to assist those with food allergies and/or preferences. Need more information? Please call Carol at 303-863-0887 or Melany at 303-942-1333.
