Dr. Michael Greger is one of the most articulate speakers in the country on a variety of complex technical, political, and scientific topics. He a physician, a prize-winning cook, and an internationally recognized speaker on a number of important public health and social justice issues. He debated the National Cattlemen's Beef Association Director before the FDA and was invited as an expert witness to defend Oprah Winfrey in the infamous "meat defamation trial." He came to Colorado last March and gave a number of talks to the VSC on Mad Cow disease and other important topics.
