Boulder NewsEvery little bit counts!Every month the Boulder Jamba Juice puts out a tip jar for the community to donate. It was the brainchild of manager, Jackie Pyatt-Floyd, who saw the opportunity to stay involved in the community around her and allow customers to participate as well. For the month of December, the tip jar proceeds were directed to benefit the Vegetarian Society of Colorado. During the month, $207.36 was raised and presented to the president, Joe Gierlach, to be added to the VSC account. Other tip jar recipients have been RMAD, the Humane Society of Boulder County and Greenwood Wildlife Sanctuary. VSC board member, Stephanie Slavick, is the assistant manager of the Jamba Juice in Boulder. Save the Prairie Dogs!A BIG thanks to everyone who donated their old books and brought them in to Jamba Juice for the book sale to assist RMAD in their work to save those lovable and furry creatures. We collected hundreds and hundreds of books…and more are still coming in as we go to press. Thank you again everyone. Every book made a difference! |
