Grand Junction Area Branch News
Our December and January vegetarian lunches and potlucks were all quite tasty
events. We also hosted two 'Vegetarian Stew' radio shows on KAFM 88.1
community radio, one with author Jeani-Rose Atchison continuing a discussion of
her newest book, Everyday Vegan, 300 Recipes for Healthful Living. The
second had hosts Carol Lamm, Eric Johanson, and Marian Dorn stirring up the
audience about 'The Hazards of Dairy' with our knowledgeable guest, Dr. Eric
Atchison. One caller stewed about remarks that milk contains pus cells.
Future topics include: the Politics of Food Production, March 4, and
Community Supported Agriculture on April 15. Turn on, tune in, join in for
our future events!

lunch for us, also open to the public. We will have Meat Out recipes and
literature available.
