Mountain Branch Potlucks:

Please join us on Sunday, January 27, February 24 and March 24, 2002. We will meet at 12:30 PM eat at 1, at the United Methodist Church of Evergreen, in Evergreen.

Please bring a plant-based dish*  (no meat, fish, fowl, dairy, eggs, honey, or other animal derived products) to serve at least 8 people.  *A plant-based dish can be a simple as, cut up fruit or veggies or a bottle of natural juice to share.  If this is your first event, please to come as our guest.  We ask those who are already comfortable with plant-based foods, to feel free to show off, dazzle us with your cooking talent and bring extra, if you like. Also, bring a recipe card and a few extras to share, listing the ingredients in your dish,  a serving utensil, your own place setting and a drink, if you like (hot tea and water will be available for all). 

After lunch, you may want to be prepare to take a hike.  There are many beautiful trails nearby and also Evergreen lake.  For additional information call 303-777-4828, and leave a message for Ann Swissdorf.

The Directions are as follows:    

From I-70, take Hwy 74 (Evergreen Parkway), 5.6 miles to the light (Bryant), turn Left, then take an immediate Right on the frontage road.  Follow this road a short way to the fork.  Stay to the Left on Ponderosa (the fork to the right is a do not enter).  The church will be the first Right just past the fork.

From the Hwy 73 and Hwy 74 intersection in Evergreen, take Hwy 74 (toward I-70), 1.8 miles to the light (Bryant), turn Right, then take an immediate Right on the frontage road. Follow this road a short way to the fork.  Stay to the Left on Ponderosa (the fork to the right is a do not enter).  The church will be the first Right just past the fork.
