Highway Cleanup Coordinator desperately neededIt's simple to coordinate and helps your organization have free advertising. There are only 4 clean up days a year and clean up takes about 1 ½ to 2 hours. You can plan picnics or lunches, following the clean ups. It’s a great way to meet fellow members. Future pickup months are January, April and July 2002. You can pick the days. Ann Swissdorf will help you get started. Bags and orange vests are provided. Call 303-777-4828, if you would be interested in taking over the coordinating of the Highway Clean up. We recommend gloves; sturdy shoes and long pants, a broomstick with a nail pounded in the end will save some stress on your back. The clean up area is on the S.E. corner of Wadsworth and Yale and is on the RTD bus line. All members, please call Ann if you can help with a clean up in January and she will call you back with a date. |
